For me this is a very ambitious project. When you take a look at my galery you find a lot of fragments of overambitious and unfinished projects. I hope this time I will finish it. I don't want to disappoint the person for who I do this work.
A good friend of mine wrote a gamebook in the style of the Fighting-Fantasy and Fabled Lands-Books (if you are not common with that: sort of a choose-your-own-adventure-book with some simple RPG-Rules). The Story is set in an alternate reality of the mediveal Japan which is inhabited by human-size quails. Similar to a Animal-Fantasy-Story like the Redwal-Books. Or for a newer example: the Mouse-Guard-Comics. The book contains 800 sections. You can become a samurai, a monk, an nija, a scout or a sorcerer.
Beeing a Fan of Fighting-Fantasy too, I accepted to do the coverart. The book is written and revised (although my friend is still playtesting it). Now it's up to me to finish our project!
We will publish the book in a small amount via book-on-demand. Of course we will offer it as a PDF-Dokument. If you are interested in it, just write me! Sadly I can only offer it in german. We are thinking about translating it to english, but this is another ambitious project.
